Sharknado is a series of 6 films (along with 2 Lavalantula spinoffs) which take place before the zombie apocalypse. So far two of the main cast have appeared and been referred to by the same names as their characters in Z-Nation:
- Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! features Roberta Warren back when she was a sergeant before promotion to lieutenant.
- Sharknado 5: Global Swarming features Doc (referred to as Steven, that is his real name) in Kansas.
