It was surrounded mainly by a chain link fence, with guards at the gates and patrolling for zombies twice a day. The compound was structured to be zombie proof.
Pre-Apocalypse[]

Post-Apocalypse[]
"Resurrection Z"[]
The Westward-Bound Survivor Group came to find shelter on their way to California. Unfortunately, their visit coincided with an attack by the Resurrection Cult.
The cult had three former Province Town members came back to the compound. They had previously been exiled together with a preacher named Jacob. They proved to be part of the Resurrection Cult and once inside Province town, they secured the cult's entry and committed suicide to join "The Resurrected."
The camp is overrun and Jacob and his cult come inside to round up survivors. The zombies are put in a cage and the living get to choose either to follow Jacob and the Resurrection cult, or to become zombies. Murphy then steps forward and claims that Jacob is a false prophet, claiming that he (Murphy) is the true Zombie Messiah, whom can walk among the zombies and not be harmed.Jacob panics and tries to shoot Murphy, causing Charles Garnett to jump in front of the bullet and to die. As of the episode, the compound has been abandoned or is currently overrun by zombies.
