Vasquez used to be a DEA Agent, but after he busted some of Escorpion's men, Escorpion had abducted his wife, Angie, and daughter, Julia, later killing them in front of him. Because of this Vasquez sought Escorpion through the apocalypse to enact vengeance by trying to kill him.
He was a member of the Westward-Bound Survivor Group up until the end of Season 2, and was the leader of the Red Hand cult which was revealed on "Heart of Darkness", going by the name "Escorpion" whom was the man who abducted and killed his family.
Vasquez: a mysterious, rugged bounty hunter with questionable motives. He's tough; he's good with a gun and he can easily find anyone he seeks.
Prior to the outbreak, Vasquez was a DEA Agent, and had a wife and daughter whom were both killed by Escorpion.
What's left of the Westward-Bound Survivor Group travels to Cheyenne, Wyoming, where they find Murphy running a zombie strip club. Vasquez arrives to take Murphy, it's sheer Z pandemonium, and Cassandra escape in a car.
Towards the end of the episode, Vasquez is left in the bar after the rest of the group leave. His location or status is not known until Season 3 Episode 9, where it is revealed that he is the leader of the infamous Red Hand, now going by "Escorpion." He then kills the real Escorpion, who is now going by Hector, by brutally stabbing him multiple times with a dagger. He is ultimately decapitated by Warren a few seconds later.
Killed by Edit
- Warren (Decapitated, Out of Mercy)
